Are you reading books for the Reading Challenge?

Silsden Library has some of the books on your lists and we're trying to get more from other libraries across Bradford. Come into the library and see if you can find a book on the list for your year.

We have removed the limit on numbers visiting the library - but please remember social distancing

Summer Reading Challenge

Our commitment to you:

    • Library open 10-4, Mon to Thu, 10-5.30 Fri, and Sat 9.30 - 1.00

    • Library staff will hand sanitise regularly

    • Surfaces will be sanitised regularly

    • There will be NO newspapers,

    • Computer use available for 30 minute slots

    • Photocopying services – ask staff

    • Air will be circulated by VentAxia air handling system

  • Social distance from staff and other users at all times

  • Be gracious and patient!

  • Facemasks optional


Jigsaws!!

We keep adding new jigsaws!

We are rationalising the jigsaws in order to make space for new ones.

We have stopped stocking jigsaws over 1000 pieces.

There is no longer online ordering for jigsaws - come to the library and choose!

The rest are now grouped in 2 sections

  1. 1000 pieces

  2. 500 pieces (includes those less than 500)

We have introduced a small selection of Children's jigsaws
